Is it true that diet soft drinks can harm your teeth? We all know that sugary drinks have acids that decay teeth. But diet/sugar-free soft drinks also have acids that can damage tooth enamel, too. So what are we supposed to do?

The answer - as always - is moderation. Don't spend all day on that iced tea or coffee or soda with sugar substitute; drink it up so your teeth don't bathe in those acids all day long. When in doubt, substitute old-fashioned water for your thirst. And if you really crave the bubbles, try seltzer; there are some delicious flavors that are unsweetened (with either sugar or sugar substitutes).
